Position Summary

As the Senior Director of Global Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that align with our business goals in the B2B RegTech SaaS space, specifically focusing on blockchain analytics for institutional and governmental customers. You will lead a talented global marketing team, driving demand generation, brand positioning, market expansion, and customer retention. This role requires a strategic leader with deep experience in SaaS product marketing, expertise in blockchain/crypto, and a thorough understanding of how to market to institutional and governmental customers.

Duties and responsibilities


  • Global Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement global marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, lead generation, customer engagement, and market penetration across multiple regions, with a focus on institutional and governmental sectors.
  • Campaign Execution: Oversee the execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, content, email, social media, events, and partnerships. Ensure all campaigns are aligned with overall business goals and tailored to the needs of different markets.
  • Customer-Centric Focus: Design and optimize customer journeys to enhance user experience and retention, focusing on the specific needs of regulatory bodies, financial institutions, and other key stakeholders in the compliance space.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a global, cross-functional marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity and innovation. Drive accountability and ensure the team aligns with the company’s growth objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, sales, and customer success teams to ensure marketing aligns with product launches, sales goals, and customer needs. Collaborate with external stakeholders, including industry partners, investors, and thought leaders.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, customer insights, and the competitive landscape. Use these insights to refine strategies, identify growth opportunities, and capitalize on emerging trends in blockchain and compliance.
  • Budget & Resource Management: Manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize return on investment (ROI) and support growth goals.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as customer acquisition cost (CAC), lifetime value (LTV), marketing-sourced revenue, and pipeline generation. Use data-driven insights to optimize campaign performance and inform future strategies.
  • Brand Consistency: Maintain global brand consistency while adapting strategies to meet regional market demands. Ensure brand messaging resonates with institutional and governmental customers.
  • Innovation & Growth: Stay ahead of marketing trends and technologies. Implement A/B testing and innovative strategies to continually improve marketing efforts and scale growth

Requirements


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 8+ years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a blockchain/crypto-focused RegTech/FinTech SaaS company.
  • Blockchain/Crypto Expertise: In-depth knowledge of blockchain and cryptocurrency markets is mandatory. Proven experience marketing to institutional and governmental clients is essential.
  • Global B2B Marketing Experience: Extensive experience in global B2B marketing, including demand generation, content strategy, digital marketing, and brand management.
  • Customer Segmentation Knowledge: Strong understanding of how to market to compliance departments, financial institutions, and governmental agencies.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated success in leading and inspiring diverse, cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical Expertise: Proficiency in marketing analytics, CRM systems, and marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot). Strong ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategies.
  • Stakeholder Management: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders, including industry leaders and partners.
  • Results-Driven: Ability to thrive in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes and driving revenue growth.
  • Cultural Adaptability: Experience in launching and scaling marketing initiatives across multiple regions, with sensitivity to cultural nuances and market-specific differences.
