Taking as a position of the assistant of the Event Manager I was supporting her on a different type of work, such as: drafting different documents, sending emails, contacting the banquet team regarding the details of the setup ect, assisting the clients during the food tastings, working with banquet supervisor during the weddings, checking if everything was going smoothly. And many other things. I have gained a great experience and understanding how does the event department in the hotel works.
My typical day at work wasn't typical at all. Working at hotel industry it is always something new. Every day I had opportunity to learn more about people . Usually me and team started our day from morning meeting and discuss our daily plans and goals. All my coworkers were high level professionals. I am really proud that I met them in my life. Hotel management were awesome and helpful. The hardest part in my work was to say "Good bye" to people that decide to leave hotel. I enjoyed each and every day at work.
