OTP Bank seemed authoritative and reliable financial institute. As I worked there as a volunteer for a limited period of time, it becomes impossible to fully assess the characteristics of this bank. However, it should be mentioned that company's success vitally depends on the collective cooperation and a good relationship between manager and employee. This lesson I've learned gave me the possibility to exert myself as a valuable team member during my further group work in the University of Huddersfield.
Because I was a volunteer, the access to the complicated tasks was limited, so I'm unlikely to evaluate the hardest part of the job. On the other hand, the most enjoyable part of it was the cooperation with the co-workers and managers, who gave me different tasks.
I managed to progress up the career ladder with this bank from a middle position of Editor to the high-rank status of PR Director. Throughout the course of all years working at OTP Bank I felt strong corporate culture, inspiring attitude of top managers, challenging tasks and objectives, trusted and delegated responsibilities but, unfortunately, undervalued compensation for the full bunch of tasks completed. Partially, it can be attributed to the crisis period in the Ukrainian banking setting. Meanwhile, after leaving the company, I remain in good relations with my former colleagues, including my direct supervisor – CEO of OTP Bank.
