We are looking for a highly skilled Angular Team Lead to join our team and play a key role in the development of a cutting-edge SaaS platform in microservices architecture tailored to the US healthcare industry, which is in production. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Angular development and front-end architecture, along with strong leadership skills to guide and mentor a team of developers. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including backend engineers (.Net), product owners, and UX/UI designers, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of the platform. As the team grows, the Angular Team Lead will be expected to take on increasing leadership responsibilities, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Does this relate to you?

  • 7+ years of experience in software development, including at least 2 years of experience in an team leading role.
  • Strong proficiency in Angular 12+ and TypeScript.
  • Expertise in RxJS, state management libraries (NgRx or similar), and component-based architecture.
  • Experience with HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, and responsive design principles.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices integration.
  • Proven experience leading and mentoring development teams.
  • Strong knowledge of front-end performance optimization techniques.
  • Experience with Unit Testing and end-to-end testing frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and best practices.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and decision-making abilities.
  • Effective communication and collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to mentor and guide technical teams.
  • Languages: English is upper intermediate or higher, Ukrainian/Russian is upper intermediate or higher.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with AngularJS (70% of the project has already migrated from AngularJS to the latest versions of Angular, with the remaining 30% still in the migration process).
  • Understanding of US healthcare industry regulations and compliance requirements

A new team member will be in charge of:

  • Lead and mentor a team of Angular developers, ensuring best practices and coding standards.
  • Architect, design, and develop scalable and maintainable front-end solutions for a healthcare SaaS platform.
  • Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and microservices efficiently.
  • Work closely with UX/UI designers to implement responsive and accessible user interfaces.
  • Drive the adoption of modern front-end development practices, including component-based architecture and state management.
  • Optimize application performance, ensuring high-quality user experiences.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to team members.
  • Define front-end development strategies and contribute to technical roadmaps.
  • Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines for front-end deployment using GitLab and related tools.
  • Ensure security and compliance with healthcare industry standards.

Additional information:

  • Flexible schedule with demand to be available for occasional calls with clients between 6–9 CET.
