Job Description
Program: Digital Transformation Activity (DTA)
SUMMARY :

EF is recruiting for an Business Digitalization Assistant.
The Business Digitalization Assistant will occupy a vital supporting role within the team led by the Business Digitalization Senior Manager, focusing on aiding the execution of digitalization projects for SME development. Working in tandem with the Business Digitalization Senior Manager, the ВDA will play a part in the analysis and modification of market access regulations. The BDA role encompasses supporting the review of regulatory instruments, aiding in targeting critical business processes for digitalization, and helping to alleviate the administrative load on businesses. The assistant will contribute to the improvement of State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection reform and other projects, promoting a transition to a risk management framework in business inspections.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the execution of digitalization initiatives aimed at economic revitalization and SME development.
- Help in analyzing and modifying market access regulations in coordination with the Senior Business Digitalization Manager and relevant working groups.
- Aid in the review process of regulatory instruments to assess their impact and suitability for digital transformation.
- Provide support in improving and maintaining the eFish, e Forest and other progects.
- Facilitate effective collaboration and communication with government entities, Ukrainian partners, and other stakeholders.
- Provide administrative support to the Business Digitalization team, including organizing meetings, preparing documents, and managing communications.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation related to business development and digitalization projects.
CORE QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least one year of experience in analyzing and reengineering market access regulations or supporting the implementation of digitalization projects and administrative processes.
- Fundamental knowledge of regulatory frameworks and a willingness to learn about market access regulations and their impacts on businesses.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, public policy, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications in these areas would be advantageous.
- Strong ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, including government entities and interagency groups.
- Comfort with using digital tools and platforms relevant to business development and regulatory processes.
- Strong organizational skills, with the capacity to assist in managing projects and tasks efficiently.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team, contributing to a collaborative environment.
- Fluency in Ukrainian and English required.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Understanding of best practices in digital governance and anti-corruption.
- Familiarity with the operating environment and main stakeholders in Ukraine regarding anti-corruption and digital governance efforts.
- Experience managing teams working in the context of ongoing conflict.
