Infineon, a world-renowned company, is seeking a talented Staff Software Engineer to join our team in Lviv, Ukraine.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Frmware development for MCU systems and peripherals ;
• Participate in defining the new feature requirements ;
• Participate in architecture and design development ;
• Develop and verify firmware for embedded systems ;
• (C language);
• Perform tasks including debug and bring-up of firmware ;
• Successfully collaborated with both software and hardware product teams ;
• Set up continuous integration systems to run tests (GitLab CI/CD);
Contribute to the innovative advancement of the company’s MCU solutions.

You are best equipped for this position if you have:

• Electronic Engineering or Computer Science degree, or any relevant degree;
• Experience in architecture and design development for embedded software ;
• At least 3 years of experience in embedded software ;
• Experience in coding in C and Python scripting;
• Knowledge of ARM-based SoC architecture ;
• Experience with bare metal embedded systems ;
• Experience in Real-Time Operating Systems and basic skills in cryptography or data protection would be a plus;
• Strong debugging/troubleshooting skills in embedded systems.
• Fluent in English .
